The Retail Sales report for November 2020, released by the U.S. Census Department, shows that while sales at auto parts, accessories, and tire stores are down from their record highs over the summer, they still exceed year-ago sales.
As the chart above shows, sales in November at $8.24 billion, were down 0.2% from October but were still up 2.5% over November 2019 sales. They remain above the long-term trend line, shown as the dotted line in the chart.
